Doors are definitely a challenge, so be prepared to take some time to figure them out. No real tips to pass on, this trial and error. Once adjusted, they are not a problem to open and close. We are using it for a 60 inch TV. Would recommend.,

One drawback that others may dislike, the stickers that are designed to go over the screws to hide them look great and would conceal them nicely, if only they actually stuck. I opted to just throw them out, and I still think it looks fine. The screws are on the inside of the shelves, so it is dark in there and they are hard to see anyway,
