It has the appearance of wood and looks decent enough, but when you touch it you can tell it is a cheaper material. This probably seems petty considering the price, but I just wanted other people to be aware. It seems sturdy so far, but I am not sure how well it will hold up to normal wear and tear because I just got it.,
