This product looks really nice once assembled, but if you’re expected super high quality, look elsewhere and be willing to spend more money. My husband started the assembly with a manual screwdriver. I do not recommend that. Power tools help immensely. The unit was pretty unstable feeling until we screwed the back on. The back does not have predrilled holes to screw into, so you’re screwing directly into the unit with very little guidance. Now that it’s assembled, it looks higher quality than what it is. The top is very sturdy and appears solid. The rest seems like an MDF. The back board is pretty flimsy but gets the job done. It’s perfect for our 55 inch tv to stand on. It’s a good viewing height as well.

If you have many AV components and think that most corner TV stands do not offer adequate storage space, you could always consider a standard TV stand which has tapered corners. Much like the ones highlighted on this page.

It was fairly easy to put together but pretty time consuming. The biggest pain I had putting it together was the back board, one of the final things to put on. The back part of the center doesn’t have any pre-drilled holes, so I had to hammer a nail part way in before being able to place the screws in. We have a two-year-old boy who is very rough and loves to play with the doors, and they have held up great so far! Overall, this is a beautiful and sturdy entertainment center. Definitely worth the money!
