It has the appearance of wood and looks decent enough, but when you touch it you can tell it is a cheaper material. It seems sturdy so far, but I am not sure how well it will hold up to normal wear and tear because I just got it.,

Assembly took a few hours but I was able to build it solo, no need for any power tools but would be helpful for the amount of screwing. Be careful when attaching the backplate, it’s easy to miss and either damage other pieces or poke a hole straight through.,
